You'll provide targeted speech-language services to a manageable caseload of 45 students, supporting their communication development from September through June.
Skills & Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Washington SLP license (or eligibility for WA licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; SLP-CFY welcome to apply
- Experience in school-based settings and providing pediatric services
- Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Comfortable managing a caseload without SLP assistants (no SLPAs)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Conduct evaluations, create individualized plans, and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals
- Serve as a resource at Tehaleh Heights Elementary School, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state regulations
- Consult and problem-solve with colleagues to enhance student outcomes
