Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting PreK students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting near Kent, WA. This position offers a .6 FTE schedule across three days each week, allowing for meaningful impact while maintaining work-life balance throughout the full school year.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working with or interest in early childhood/PreK populations
- Familiarity with IEP development, assessment, and therapy planning
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services for PreK students
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and ongoing progress monitoring
- Develop and implement goals and treatment plans tailored to each student’s communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by the district
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to promote student success
