Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license for the state of Washington
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Prior experience in school settings is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of current evaluation tools and intervention strategies
- Excellent collaboration and organizational abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability to support a range of student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Provide direct therapy and support services in accordance with student IEPs
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other related service providers
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress reports as required by district protocols
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver engaging therapy that promotes academic and social success for students
