Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Experience serving children in a school setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Commitment to fostering inclusion and supporting diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver therapy services in individual and small group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student communication goals
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation according to school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
  • Serve as an advocate and resource for students’ speech and language needs within the school community
