Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Kent, WA

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Active Washington State SLP license or ability to obtain before start
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY considered
• Previous experience working in school settings preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans for students with communication needs
• Provide therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, tailored to student IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success across settings
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress reports, and compliance paperwork
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering recommendations and expertise for each student’s plan
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current in best practices
