Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
  • Active Washington SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but not required
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly encouraged
  • Strong collaboration, organization, and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to varying student needs

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations of students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student goals
  • Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Maintain accurate records and document progress per district and state guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and families to foster student growth
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and school-based professional development
  • Stay current with best practices, therapy techniques, and regulatory requirements
