A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Kerman, CA, within a school setting. This contract role offers an opportunity to provide essential speech therapy services to students, supporting their communication development in an onsite environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP-CCC or SLP-School certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of California school experience.
- At least 1 year of SEIS (Special Education Information System) experience.
- Experience supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and facilitators is preferred.
- Strong ability to manage high caseloads and handle referrals efficiently.
- Will consider candidates who are Clinical Fellows (CFs).
- Must be available for onsite work.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students, managing caseloads effectively.
- Collaborate with educational teams to develop individual education plans (IEPs).
- Supervise and coordinate with SLPAs as needed.
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with school district policies.
- Support approximately 60-65 students, including 25-30 receiving speech-only services.
