Qualifications & Preferred Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure required for SLPs
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in school settings highly valued
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to thrive within a multidisciplinary educational team
- Flexible approach to service delivery, with openness to both onsite and potential hybrid arrangements
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver speech-language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to promote positive student outcomes
- Maintain clear and accurate records, including required documentation and progress reporting
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education plans
- Offer direct and consultative services as defined by student needs and district guidelines
- Stay informed of best practices and current approaches in pediatric speech-language pathology
