Qualifications & Preferred Background:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure required for SLPs
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in school settings highly valued
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to thrive within a multidisciplinary educational team
  • Flexible approach to service delivery, with openness to both onsite and potential hybrid arrangements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver speech-language therapy services to students
  • Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to promote positive student outcomes
  • Maintain clear and accurate records, including required documentation and progress reporting
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education plans
  • Offer direct and consultative services as defined by student needs and district guidelines
  • Stay informed of best practices and current approaches in pediatric speech-language pathology
