Step into a vital role supporting communication and learning for students across elementary and middle grade levels as an on-site Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract position spans from August 17, 2026, to June 4, 2027, offering a dynamic and collaborative environment. You’ll have the opportunity to develop impactful interventions for a diverse caseload of 35–40 students each at either a primary or shared elementary/middle school setting, focusing on PreK and grades 4–12.
Required Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina NCDPI SLP License (confirmation required)
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- SLP-CCC credential (no CFs or SLPAs at this time)
- Proven ECATS experience
- On-site availability throughout the assignment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services aligned with IEP goals
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and generate detailed evaluation reports
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, staff, and families
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including progress notes and compliance records
- Manage caseloads across assigned school sites, flexibly addressing student needs
- Utilize ECATS and Infinite Campus for documentation, scheduling, and reporting
- Provide consultative and classroom-based support as needed
- Monitor student progress and adapt interventions based on data
- Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory guidelines at state, district, and federal levels
