Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY) or Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, in accordance with school-based practice requirements
  • Background in speech and language assessment, therapy, and intervention for children or adolescents
  • Solid understanding of IEP documentation and progress monitoring
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and small group speech/language therapy to students
  • Conduct assessments and screenings to determine students’ needs
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and intervention plans
  • Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress
  • Maintain detailed and compliant documentation
