- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current California SLP license or credential (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are also welcome to apply
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Proficiency in evaluating speech, language, fluency, and voice disorders
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Flexibility for working with diverse student populations and staff
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments, and interpreting evaluation results
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for students with communication challenges
- Providing direct therapy sessions individually and in small groups
- Completing required documentation for IEPs, progress notes, and Medicaid billing as needed
- Consulting regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
- Participating in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing professional development
