Candidates should possess:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current California SLP license or credential (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are also welcome to apply
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Proficiency in evaluating speech, language, fluency, and voice disorders
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Flexibility for working with diverse student populations and staff

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting speech and language assessments, and interpreting evaluation results
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for students with communication challenges
  • Providing direct therapy sessions individually and in small groups
  • Completing required documentation for IEPs, progress notes, and Medicaid billing as needed
  • Consulting regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
  • Participating in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing professional development
