As part of a team dedicated to student growth and communication access, you'll have the ability to discuss caseload age preferences during the interview process—your input is valued and helps ensure a satisfying assignment. You'll need a current Texas state license (or eligibility to obtain one by your start date) and previous experience or training in pediatric, school-based speech-language pathology.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active or eligible Texas SLP licensure by the start date
- Eligible new graduates (CFY) and SLP-CCC candidates welcome
- Experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads is advantageous
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting student speech and language development
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and speech-language evaluations for assigned students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff and families to develop student-centered goals
- Complete timely documentation, progress notes, and required reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer expert recommendations
- Engage in ongoing professional growth and school-based activities
