Job Type Contract

Step into a rewarding opportunity providing speech-language pathology services to students across multiple grade levels for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract role supports a vibrant school setting with placements available in elementary, middle, and high school environments. You’ll be helping ensure quality in-person care as part of a supportive student services team, as a retiring SLP transitions out and a new group of professionals takes over a valued caseload.

Six SLPs are needed to meet the demand for the new school year, with caseloads expected to remain manageable, typically between 50-60 students. Your assignment will be thoughtfully determined based on your experience or preference, with options spanning kindergarten through 12th grade.

What we’re looking for:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active SLP licensure in Texas (or willingness to obtain)
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting working with K-12 students
  • Comfort providing therapy across a diverse range of ages and needs
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to manage a moderate caseload
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Dedication to fostering student growth and success

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering direct speech and language therapy to assigned students
  • Conducting assessments, re-evaluations, and progress monitoring
  • Collaborating with teachers, other therapists, and families
  • Maintaining records, developing IEP goals, and participating in ARD meetings
  • Making an impact as a trusted advocate for your students’ communication needs

Perks of the role:

  • Flexible placement options in elementary, middle, or high school settings
  • Meaningful work supporting students’ success and communication skills
  • Contract stability for the 2026-2027 academic year

This is a unique opportunity to make a difference for K-12 learners at a critical time. If you’re passionate about helping young people unlock their potential through in-person services, submit your application today!
