Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid (or eligible) state licensure and ASHA certification (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Strong commitment to supporting students’ individual communication needs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and support staff
- Eagerness to work with new graduates, accepting those seeking CFY supervision
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication interventions for students in grades K-12
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and monitor progress toward goals
- Provide direct therapy sessions—individually and in small groups—tailoring approaches to diverse learning styles
- Maintain thorough documentation on evaluations, progress, and compliance with federal/state requirements
- Consult with educators and families to foster successful communication strategies in and out of the classroom
