Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active state license (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working in schools or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong collaborative skills and adaptability in diverse educational environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Commitment to supporting students’ communication development
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments of speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective service delivery
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
- Educate and support teachers and staff on strategies for students with communication challenges
