Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Active state license (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience working in schools or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong collaborative skills and adaptability in diverse educational environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Commitment to supporting students’ communication development

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments of speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective service delivery
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
  • Educate and support teachers and staff on strategies for students with communication challenges
