Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC). This engaging role serves two nearby schools, each focused on children ages 3-5, with the flexibility to accommodate either full-time or part-time availability. While the two schools are about 45 minutes apart, you’ll spend your full day at a single site, ensuring consistency and continuity for your students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Current state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience with preschool-aged children preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload

Position Details:

  • One school (Pine Plains) offers part-time hours, 3 days per week, averaging 10 sessions per day and 40 sessions per week
  • The other school (Mt. Marion) is part-time, 2-3 days per week, with 43 weekly sessions at full enrollment; current caseload will increase as enrollment grows
  • You’ll be scheduled at only one school each day, minimizing travel and promoting focused service delivery
  • Full-time applicants who can manage both locations are highly desired, but part-time arrangements will also be considered

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy tailored to preschoolers
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress
