Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure and credentials (CCC required)
- Experience as a school-based SLP, with a strong understanding of early childhood developmental milestones
- Expertise in conducting a high volume of speech-language evaluations for preschool and kindergarten-aged students
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with educational teams, families, and multidisciplinary professionals
- Strong organizational and documentation skills to manage approximately 130 evaluations efficiently
- Comfort working onsite in a dedicated, energetic school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for early childhood students in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Develop, document, and present evaluation outcomes clearly and professionally
- Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and support staff to facilitate smooth evaluation processes and communicate findings
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, offering data-driven recommendations for services
- Maintain timely, accurate records and adhere to confidentiality requirements
- Serve as a resource to families and educators regarding students’ speech and language needs
