Seeking an experienced and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to serve diverse student populations across multiple school sites. This contract opportunity offers the satisfaction of making a direct impact on students from kindergarten to middle school within specialized settings, including center-based autistic support and life skills classrooms. The position follows the academic calendar, running from late August through early June, with a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week.

You’ll work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff to design and deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to each student’s needs. Caseloads vary and include opportunities for both center-based group settings and support within individual learning environments.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license and CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Prior experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of various support needs including autistic, life skills, emotional, and learning support students
  • Ability to tailor interventions and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility to move between sites if needed
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in K-8 across multiple buildings
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assess and document student progress regularly
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
  • Adapt materials and techniques to meet the unique needs of each caseload
  • Temporarily cover assignments in K-4 and intermediate settings as required
