Step into an impactful role as a Full Time Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 school year, providing dedicated care and support to kindergarten through 12th grade students. This contract position, based in a dynamic school setting, offers the chance to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student communication and learning.

What you bring:

  • Active South Carolina SLP License (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience in school settings or with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Commitment to culturally responsive, student-centered practice

Key responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals with measurable outcomes
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff to integrate speech/language strategies into the classroom
  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Engage parents and caregivers in understanding and supporting student progress
  • Attend IEP meetings and provide expertise as part of the educational team
