School Speech Language Pathologist - Kirkwood, CA

As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll help shape positive communication outcomes for children and work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team committed to excellence in education and therapy.

• Conduct in-depth assessments for students with speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s unique needs
• Lead therapy sessions with clear goals in speech, language, and communication
• Document progress carefully, ensuring accurate records and ongoing evaluation
• Work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and other specialists to foster holistic care
• Involve and guide families as partners in the therapeutic process
• Stay current on best practices and emerging techniques in school-based speech-language pathology

Ideal candidates bring:

• A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure) as an SLP
• Preferably, a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligibility/interest in completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience working with school-aged or pediatric populations is highly valued
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
• The ability to work both autonomously and within an interdisciplinary group

To qualify, you must have an active state board-approved license and a master’s or higher in speech-language pathology.

You will be supported by an advisory team of experienced SLPs in your state, providing mentorship and guidance throughout your contract term.
