What you bring to the table:
- Valid SLP license (or eligibility and willingness to obtain CA licensure if out of state)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience or a strong interest in school-based speech services, especially with young learners
- Solid understanding of assessment, intervention, and progress tracking for PreK and Kindergarten students
- Clear communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
Your responsibilities:
- Evaluate and identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to young children
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in team meetings, contribute insights to multidisciplinary planning, and consult with teachers to integrate speech/language goals into the classroom
