This contract-based opportunity spans the entire school year, with a schedule from August 20, 2026, through June 4, 2027, and a manageable caseload of approximately 25-35 children. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Hold a current SLP license or be willing to obtain a California SLP license (out-of-state applicants encouraged to apply).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
- Strong assessment, intervention, and collaboration skills.
- Able to work onsite throughout the school year, Monday through Friday, with a total of 37.5 hours per week.
- Energetic, patient, and passionate about serving early learners with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to support each student’s progress.
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy for PreK and Kindergarten students.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and other school staff to support a holistic approach to student growth.
- Maintain clear and timely documentation in compliance with state and school guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
