Step into a rewarding role supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with PreK and Kindergarten students. This contract-based opportunity spans the entire school year, with a schedule from August 20, 2026, through June 4, 2027, and a manageable caseload of approximately 25-35 children. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Hold a current SLP license or be willing to obtain a California SLP license (out-of-state applicants encouraged to apply).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and collaboration skills.
  • Able to work onsite throughout the school year, Monday through Friday, with a total of 37.5 hours per week.
  • Energetic, patient, and passionate about serving early learners with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to support each student’s progress.
  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy for PreK and Kindergarten students.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and other school staff to support a holistic approach to student growth.
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation in compliance with state and school guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
