School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Knox, Indiana

Step into a rewarding position supporting students’ communication needs in a K-12 educational setting for the full 2026-2027 school year. You will work onsite full-time, engaging directly with students and collaborating with educators and families. This contract opportunity calls for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is passionate about making a difference in children’s academic and social success. Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (or equivalent for SLPA)
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP or SLPA
• Accepting candidates who have completed or are in their Clinical Fellowship Year
• Experience or strong interest in working with children in a school setting
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide services onsite, collaborating in person with the school team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and communication disorders in students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports in compliance with school guidelines
• Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student outcomes
• Attend and participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development activities
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and support when applicable, especially if working as or with an SLPA
