This full-time contract opportunity is available immediately and runs through the end of the school year, supporting elementary students and offering valuable experience with secondary-level specialized units.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy and assessments for students, focusing on elementary caseloads with involvement at secondary levels as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with general and special education teachers, specialized staff, and families to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain comprehensive and organized documentation consistent with school and state requirements.
  • Provide both direct and consultative services, supporting a variety of student needs, including those in specialized units.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and multidisciplinary discussions, contributing your expertise and insights.

Qualifications & Desired Background:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience in school settings or pediatric populations is highly valued.
  • Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a collaborative approach.
