Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Washington state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
  • Experience working within school settings is highly valued
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop rapport with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds
  • Comfort with consultative and collaborative service delivery models
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation processes

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Assess students using standardized tools and clinical observation
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with IEP teams
  • Document interventions and progress according to school and state protocols
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
  • Attend and contribute to eligibility, annual, and progress meetings as required
  • Promote inclusion by supporting classroom strategies and offering staff training when appropriate
