Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong organizational skills and a commitment to documentation accuracy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to identify speech and language needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain detailed records and progress reports according to school and legal requirements
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions tailored to unique student profiles
