Seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make a meaningful impact during the upcoming 26-27 school year. This full-time, onsite opportunity involves serving a diverse student population, including those with moderate to severe disabilities, ages 2 to 22. You’ll provide expert intervention at a school located near La Porte, IN, with a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver targeted speech-language therapy for students, focusing on areas like assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and both receptive and expressive language delays.
  • Conduct diagnostic and evaluation assessments to support student needs.
  • Prepare clear, comprehensive reports based on student observations and assessment results.
  • Support the development and achievement of IEP objectives, ensuring measurable progress.
  • Collaborate closely with parents and educational teams to communicate student development and identify areas for support.
  • Adapt your approach to meet the evolving needs of students across a wide age range and level of disability.

Qualifications:

  • Eligible to hold a current Indiana Professional License (IPLA) and Department of Education (IDOE) teacher’s license.
  • Preferably bring 1-2 years of experience as a school-based SLP.
  • Outstanding communication skills with a dedication to multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Flexible, solution-oriented mindset and a passion for working in educational environments.
