School Speech Language Pathologist - La Porte, IN

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP state license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience or clinical practicum with K-12th grade student populations preferred
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with students, staff, and caregivers
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, both in individual and group settings
• Conduct evaluations and create targeted treatment plans tailored to diverse student needs
• Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s overall learning goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and document progress with clarity and consistency
• Offer guidance, strategies, and support to families and educators
• Adapt techniques and materials to address a range of communication disorders and learning styles
