Experience a rewarding opportunity serving students at a Day School Program for the Deaf, where your fluency in American Sign Language and passion for speech-language pathology will make an impact. This full-time contract position spans from August 2026 through May 2027, providing consistent hours and a meaningful caseload. You'll collaborate with a dynamic educational team, helping students from PreK-3 through 12th grade achieve better communication and academic success. You’ll serve approximately 60 students across a range of ages and developmental stages, supporting their growth at multiple campuses.

What we’re seeking:

  • Active state license and credentials as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY considered)
  • Experience or comfort working within school settings
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required
  • Understanding and commitment to serving students with varying degrees of hearing loss
  • Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills

Responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering direct and consultative speech-language services to students, adapted for Deaf and hard of hearing populations
  • Conducting assessments, goal development, and individualized education program (IEP) planning
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers, special educators, interpreters, and families to support instructional access and progress
  • Providing services at three campuses, ensuring students’ needs are met consistently
  • Maintaining thorough records and progress documentation
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development related to both speech-language pathology and Deaf education
