School Speech Language Pathologist - La Quinta, CA

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current ASHA (CCC) certification required
• Valid California SLP license
• Certification of Clearance (COC)
• Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) as well as seasoned SLP-CCC professionals
• Experience in school-based settings, especially preschool, strongly preferred
• Familiarity with SEIS (Special Education Information System) is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for preschool students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with educators and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements
• Provide support and guidance to classroom staff to integrate communication strategies
• Engage in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for continued growth
