Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid SLP licensure (with CCC) for California
- Experience in school-based speech therapy, particularly preschool caseloads
- Previous exposure to California Medicaid (Paradigm) billing is highly valued
- Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
- Certificate of Clearance (COC) required
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and implement treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Work with mild-moderate and some severe needs students, adapting interventions as necessary
- Maintain clear documentation for assessments, IEPs, and Medicaid billing (Paradigm)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure student progress
- Provide training and resources to staff and families regarding communication strategies and AAC utilization
