Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP licensure (with CCC) for California
  • Experience in school-based speech therapy, particularly preschool caseloads
  • Previous exposure to California Medicaid (Paradigm) billing is highly valued
  • Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
  • Certificate of Clearance (COC) required
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and implement treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Work with mild-moderate and some severe needs students, adapting interventions as necessary
  • Maintain clear documentation for assessments, IEPs, and Medicaid billing (Paradigm)
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure student progress
  • Provide training and resources to staff and families regarding communication strategies and AAC utilization
