School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | La Vista, Nebraska

Serve a diverse student population with an estimated caseload of approximately 50 students, and enjoy the flexibility of a weekly schedule ranging from 37.5 to 40 hours. Caseload assignments are thoughtfully matched to your experience and interest, spanning varied age groups.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure for speech-language pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, though Clinical Fellows will be considered
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable, especially with IEP processes and interdisciplinary teams
• Compassion, adaptability, and strong communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school environment
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
• Maintain documentation on student progress, goals, and treatment outcomes
• Participate in professional meetings and serve as a valuable resource for staff and parents
