Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates encouraged to apply
  • School-based SLP experience is highly valued
  • Understanding of IEPs and experience in developing therapy plans
  • Excellent communication, organization, and rapport-building skills with children, staff, and families
  • Comfortable collaborating within a multidisciplinary educational team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and participate in the IEP process
  • Deliver therapy sessions (individual and group) that support progress toward each student’s goals
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with all state/federal regulations and school guidelines
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure student success
  • Provide input and recommendations for classroom accommodations and modifications
