Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates will be considered
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with educators, families, and other specialists

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and screenings
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in groups
  • Monitor, record, and report student progress toward IEP goals
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students’ success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations
  • Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to all legal and ethical mandates
