A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a school setting located in Lacey, WA. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed SLP with experience working in schools who is passionate about supporting students’ communication and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations pertaining to speech therapy services
- Participate in professional development and continuing education activities
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state SLP license
- Experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in school environments
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and intervention techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
