Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFs are also encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school-based setting highly valued
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for helping children reach their full potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
- Develop individualized education program (IEP) goals tailored to each student's needs
- Provide therapeutic interventions to address speech-language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, sessions, and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Attend professional development and remain current with best practices in school speech-language pathology
