Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP state licensure and ASHA CCC’s held for at least one year
- At least one year of experience working with IEPs in an educational setting
- Strong background in pediatric speech therapy, including work with school-aged children and/or completion of a Clinical Fellowship (CFY) in schools
- Proficiency in digital documentation, email communication, and a willingness to learn new software and troubleshoot basic technical issues
- Ability to communicate effectively and partner with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to ensure the best outcomes for students
- Highly organized; adept at managing caseloads with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Enthusiastic, self-directed, and passionate about making a positive difference in students' educational journeys
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language pathology services to students onsite, as assigned within the school
- Develop, review, and implement IEPs according to state and district policies
- Conduct thorough assessments, maintain accurate and timely records, and create individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to support student progress
- Utilize available assessment tools, protocols, and evaluation materials to ensure effective and evidence-based interventions
