Seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists to support students across schools in Tippecanoe County for the upcoming school year. This is a full-time contract role ideal for professionals passionate about student communication growth and eager to make a positive impact. Skills and Experience Desired:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome to apply
- Previous pediatric, school-based, or teletherapy experience highly valued
- Ability to plan and deliver therapy for students with a variety of speech and language needs, including those in life skills programs
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
In this role, you’ll:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate actively in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support each student’s communication needs in the classroom
- Adapt therapy techniques for both in-person and remote (teletherapy) settings as needed
- Partner with other specialists and educators to foster an inclusive learning environment
