Grades K - 5 1:1 School Speech Language Pathologist - Lafitte, LA

Make a real difference in the lives of young learners as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist working across multiple grade levels, from kindergarten through high school. Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP license in Louisiana (or eligibility)
• Experience working with students in grades K-12, especially in educational settings
• Comfort with both 1:1 and small group therapy
• Familiarity with IEP development and participation in the IEP process
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, individually and in groups, tailored to a range of age groups (K-12)
• Complete assessments, develop individualized intervention plans, and participate in team meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and other school staff to support students’ progress and communication needs
• Maintain accurate, timely records and contribute to ongoing IEP evaluations and annual reviews
• Serve as an informational resource for school teams and families regarding speech-language development
