Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active Louisiana state SLP licensure (or eligibility by the assignment’s start date)
  • Open to ASHA CCC-SLP holders and Clinical Fellows (CFY)
  • Comfortable working on-site in a school setting
  • Experience in schools and/or pediatric settings is advantageous, though not required
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the special education team
  • Maintain accurate records and progress documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student support
