Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- Active Louisiana state SLP licensure (or eligibility by the assignment’s start date)
- Open to ASHA CCC-SLP holders and Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Comfortable working on-site in a school setting
- Experience in schools and/or pediatric settings is advantageous, though not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the special education team
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student support
