In this role, you will provide dedicated speech-language pathology services within a vibrant educational setting, focusing on grades 5 through 7 for the 2026-2027 school year.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, and/or healthcare SLP services
- Proficiency in assessing and treating a diverse range of communication and swallowing disorders
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans for middle school students
- Delivering direct and consultative speech and language therapy services in a school setting
- Maintaining accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Communicating with parents, teachers, and educational team members regarding student progress and therapy goals
- Attending IEP meetings and providing input for student success
- Adapting approaches to meet the varying needs of the grade 5-7 age group
