Speech Language Pathologist in Lake Elsinore, CA

This assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through December 2026, with potential (though not guaranteed) extension for the remainder of the school year. The position covers a maternity leave, focusing on three medically fragile classrooms. An additional SLP and an SLPA are present for collaborative support, creating a dynamic environment for both seasoned professionals and those eager to build experience with complex caseloads.

Qualifications & Preferred Background:

• Active California Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLPs; SLPAs encouraged to apply
• Demonstrated proficiency with AAC devices and medically fragile populations
• Previous school-based SLP/SLPA experience preferred
• Strong teamwork, compassion, and flexibility in fast-paced settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and deliver speech-language services for students in three medically fragile classrooms
• Implement and troubleshoot AAC device usage alongside students and staff
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans and progress notes
• Collaborate closely with an on-site SLP, SLPA, and interdisciplinary staff
• Communicate regularly with teachers and families regarding student support

This contract position offers a consistent schedule of 32.5–35 hours per week. SLPAs in this role receive $81.90 per hour.
