Make an impact in the lives of students by providing essential speech-language pathology services in a dynamic TK–12 district serving 3,650 students. Step into a contract role that offers the chance to work onsite in Rosamond, CA, supporting learners from elementary to high school. This opportunity is ideal for travel professionals seeking a rewarding position in an engaging educational environment.

You’ll provide services across two sites—covering grades TK–5 at Rosamond Elementary and 9–12 at the high school early college campus. The caseload consists of up to 60 students with a broad spectrum of needs, from general education to moderate/severe disabilities. Your expertise will empower students at every grade level to develop essential communication skills, building confidence and academic success.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license and ASHA CCCs required
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Comfort working with students across a range of abilities (general ed to mod/severe)
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to provide direct, onsite speech services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language evaluations and therapy for students in grades TK–5 and 9–12
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized goals within IEPs
  • Collaborate regularly with education staff, support personnel, and families
  • Maintain thorough documentation on student progress and services provided
  • Engage in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a supportive school community

This contract position runs from August 10, 2026, through June 4, 2027. The district is seeking candidates who value onsite presence and are open to travel arrangements.
