Positions are available at Taylor Middle High in Pierson and Hinson Middle in Daytona. These contract roles begin August 4, 2026, and run through May 28, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required; Clinical Fellows (CF) are encouraged to apply and will receive mentorship.
- School-based SLP experience preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills are vital.
- Committed to supporting diverse student populations and contributing to a positive school community.
- SLPAs and virtual applicants are not being considered for these roles.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments, develop appropriate intervention strategies, and document student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to foster student success.
- Support IEP meetings, contribute expert recommendations, and maintain professional records.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and supervision if required.
