You will spend full days at a single school before rotating to the next location, all within close proximity—no need for constant movement between sites. Each school serves approximately 10 students with a range of needs: general education students with speech needs, those on the spectrum, and students with mild cognitive challenges, all requiring your expertise to empower their communication.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Current state license to practice as an SLP (or eligibility for Michigan licensure)
• Previous experience in a school-based SLP setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in accordance with their IEP goals
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and write evaluation reports
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team planning
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
