School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Lake Placid, Florida

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for Florida SLP licensure
• Demonstrated experience working in school settings with K-12 students
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to individualized, student-centered approaches

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure cohesive support
• Maintain detailed, confidential documentation and progress notes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary support teams
• Consult with staff and provide resources or training as needed
