Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Hold a valid SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Previous experience in a school setting (K-12) preferred, but not required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in children.
- Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat disorders related to speech, language, communication, and swallowing for K-12 students.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and progress reports tailored to each student's needs.
- Deliver direct and consultative intervention services in accordance with IEP goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff to ensure best practices and integrated support for students.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state requirements.
- Adapt therapy approaches and materials to meet the unique needs of students across grade levels.
