This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to support students’ communication needs throughout the 2026-2027 school year (September 1, 2026 – June 25, 2027). What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid NY state licensure (or eligibility) and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) – Clinical Fellows welcome
- Experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP settings
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and staff
- Expertise or interest in teletherapy services a plus
- Commitment to fostering student growth and success
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse student population
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations
- Work closely with teachers, special educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
- Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development opportunities
