Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience or strong interest in a school-based setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary education teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Deliver both individual and small group therapy sessions to support student progress
- Track and document student outcomes, maintaining accurate and timely records
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to develop effective interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute your expertise to the planning process
- Engage in advocacy and support for students at all stages of their academic journey
