Step into a rewarding role supporting students' communication and development as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year, located near Lake Zurich, IL. This opportunity spans from August 17, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a full-time schedule of approximately 33.25 hours each week, providing ample time to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting. This is an in-person position, focused on driving student success and empowering learners through effective therapy and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Active Illinois SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Direct experience in school-based speech-language therapy preferred
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
  • Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
  • Effective communicator who thrives working closely with students, staff, and parents
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEPs
  • Deliver direct therapy to students individually and in groups
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all documentation requirements
  • Offer guidance and support to teachers and parents regarding strategies for student success
