This is an in-person position, focused on driving student success and empowering learners through effective therapy and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Active Illinois SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Direct experience in school-based speech-language therapy preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Effective communicator who thrives working closely with students, staff, and parents
- Enthusiasm for contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEPs
- Deliver direct therapy to students individually and in groups
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all documentation requirements
- Offer guidance and support to teachers and parents regarding strategies for student success
