Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active SLP license (or eligibility) in the state of Florida
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
  • Proficiency with IEP processes, documentation, and goal setting
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
  • Adaptability and creativity to provide engaging, individualized interventions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students K-5
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in both group and one-on-one settings
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation in accordance with both school and professional requirements
  • Educate and collaborate with teachers and families on student progress and strategies for support
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights regarding student needs
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that supports each student's growth and independence
