Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Sciences
  • Valid SLP license or state certification
  • Experience working in school settings or with children ages 5–12 strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
  • Ability to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and comprehensive speech/language assessments
  • Adaptable problem solver and effective at managing a dynamic caseload

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate student speech and language abilities utilizing standardized tests and clinical observations
  • Create and execute individualized treatment plans/IEPs addressing speech, language, voice, and articulation challenges
  • Provide direct and consultative speech therapy sessions for students in classroom and small group settings
  • Document progress, maintain compliance records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Work closely with teachers and families to integrate strategies supporting students’ communication in educational settings
  • Offer professional insights and support for inclusive classroom strategies
