Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active SLP license (or eligibility) in the state of Florida
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Proficiency with IEP processes, documentation, and goal setting
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
- Adaptability and creativity to provide engaging, individualized interventions
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students K-5
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in both group and one-on-one settings
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in accordance with both school and professional requirements
- Educate and collaborate with teachers and families on student progress and strategies for support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights regarding student needs
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that supports each student's growth and independence
