Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required
- Hold a valid Florida State License in Speech-Language Pathology
- Expertise in delivering individualized speech and language care, particularly in a 1:1 school-based setting
- Comfortable conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and maintaining compliance with all documentation requirements
- Strong collaboration skills for working alongside educators, parents, and support staff
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language needs of elementary-age students
- Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions, with an emphasis on 1:1 support
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and other educational professionals to integrate therapy goals within the school curriculum
- Maintain detailed and accurate session notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Communicate progress and treatment plans with families and educational staff to ensure holistic support for each child
