Preferred Background and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid Florida State License in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience providing 1:1 care, preferably within a school or educational setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with children and staff
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to individual student needs
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate and timely session documentation

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment results
  • Provide one-on-one speech therapy services for elementary students
  • Regularly collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to integrate therapy goals with classroom activities
  • Keep thorough and confidential notes on each session and track student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams as needed
