Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a vibrant secondary school and transition program located near Lakeville, MN! This contract opportunity runs from August 24, 2026, through June 7, 2027, offering 37.5 to 40 hours per week with a caseload of approximately 50 students. You'll play a vital role supporting high school and secondary transition-aged learners, collaborating with a committed team to help students thrive in their educational and communicative goals.

Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Minnesota
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered
  • Experience working within school environments, ideally with high school or transition-aged students
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary educational team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students within the caseload
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services aligned with students’ needs and IEP goals
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and team consultations
  • Provide support and resources to teachers, students, and families to foster positive outcomes
