Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active MN SLP license or eligibility (CFY candidates welcome)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates considered
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to varying student needs and create dynamic therapy activities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized tools
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in partnership with interdisciplinary teams
  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
  • Maintain thorough and timely records of assessments, interventions, and progress
  • Align therapy goals with academic objectives and grade-level standards
  • Collaborate closely with families, teachers, and related services staff for optimal student support
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff training, and ongoing professional development
